M. D.: We are guided by authenticity. Our productions must have meaning in terms of their surroundings and history... In the case of Le Moulin, its location in the heart of the village meant it had to be opened up, to be given even more warmth and comfort. By adopting the codes of a southern French holiday house, we made it feel more like a home than a hotel.
P. A. T.: In this quest for truth, the materials set the tone. At Le Moulin, given the Mediterranean architectural heritage, stone, lime plaster, straw and faience rapidly emerged as clear choices. Their vibrations and feel bring to life the sparse spaces, often with muted shades. They add soul.
